The Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza, has announced that a contractor will be on site by the end of this month to begin construction of the inner roads at the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS).
The announcement is expected to bring relief to students, staff, and motorists who use the university's road network, which has long required major improvement.
According to the Minister, preparations have been completed for the project, with the contractor scheduled to mobilize to the site before the end of July to commence work.
The construction of the UHAS inner roads forms part of the government's broader commitment to improving road infrastructure and enhancing accessibility to key educational institutions across the country.
Once completed, the project is expected to improve transportation within the university, create a safer environment for road users, and support academic and administrative activities on campus.
