The Ministry of Education has strongly condemned the shooting incident at the Zohe Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Primary School in Yendi in the Northern Region, describing it as a grave threat to the safety of pupils, teachers and the entire school community.
Preliminary reports indicate that two armed men stormed the school premises and fired indiscriminately, triggering fear and panic among pupils and staff. The headmaster was reportedly injured after being assaulted during the attack.

It further noted: “The Minister has directed the immediate attention of the Ghana Police Service to this criminal act and has called for swift investigations into the incident.”
