The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ZEN Petroleum Limited , William Tewiah, has reaffirmed the company's commitment to fair pricing, product quality, and customer satisfaction in Ghana's petroleum sector.
Speaking on The Point of View on Channel One TV with Bernard Avle on Wednesday, April 22, he said ZEN has consistently prioritised competitive and uniform pricing across its nationwide network.
“We always set out to do the best we can in every possible way. We offer competitive prices, which is something we started doing years ago. We believe that the end consumer deserves the best price possible.
“So, we have always sold out at the best price possible for us in a sustainable way. We have always maintained that our prices need to be uniform across our networks, not just certain parts of the country,” he said.
He stressed that the company maintains a single pricing structure nationwide to ensure fairness and strengthen customer confidence.
“There's too much competition, and we believe that our prices need to be uniform everywhere you go. That is also out of respect for our customers so that they don't feel shortchanged. Our prices are the same across the country,” he stated.
Mr. Tewiah also emphasised strict adherence to fuel measurement standards and product quality.
“We believe that customers deserve to receive the quantity of fuel they paid for. If we're giving you 50 litres, we need to give you 50 litres, and that is something we take seriously. The quality also needs to be the best available,” he added.
He further highlighted ZEN's local ownership and employment structure, describing the company as fully Ghanaian-owned.
“ZEN is a proudly 100 per cent Ghanaian company. Today, we employ 500,000 Ghanaians. We don't have foreigners working with us, and it's something I'm proud of. We want to enhance the reputation of Ghanaian-owned companies,” he noted.
