Motorists heading from the Motorway Roundabout towards the Valco Roundabout in Tema have been advised to use alternative routes following a tanker accident.
The incident, which occurred on Friday, March 27, involved a tanker with registration number GN 4978-12 that overturned at the busy roundabout.
The Ghana National Fire Service, which disclosed the development in a traffic alert, said emergency crews have been deployed to manage the situation.
Fire officers are currently on site working to contain a spill of naphthalene condensate and to ensure public safety.
The Service cautioned motorists to avoid the area to prevent congestion and allow emergency responders to carry out their work effectively.
