The United States Army Reserve has announced with profound grief the death of four soldiers who lost their lives while supporting Operation Epic Fury following an unmanned aircraft system attack at the Port of Shuaiba in Kuwait.

According to an official statement released by the United States Army Reserve, the tragic incident occurred on March 1 when a drone attack targeted the operational area where the soldiers were stationed as part of their assigned mission. The attack claimed the lives of the servicemembers as they carried out their duties in service to their country.

The fallen soldiers have been identified as Capt. Cody Khork, Sgt. 1st Class Nicole Amor, Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens, and Sgt. Declan Coady. Military officials described them as dedicated professionals who demonstrated courage, commitment, and unwavering patriotism throughout their service.

In a statement honoring the deceased, Chief of the U.S. Army Reserve, Robert Harter, paid tribute to the soldiers’ sacrifice and bravery.

“These heroes served fearlessly and selflessly in defense of our nation. Their sacrifice—and the sacrifices of their families—will never be forgotten,” he said.
