The Member of Parliament for Aowin, Oscar Larbi, has assured his constituents that government will soon fix all deplorable roads in the area.
The assurance comes amid persistent complaints by residents over the poor state of roads linking farming communities to major towns, which they say affects trade, transportation and access to social services.
According to the National Democratic Congress lawmaker, the John Mahama-led administration is poised to open up every community for growth through massive infrastructure development.
In a social media post on Thursday, February 26, Mr. Larbi stressed that the current road challenges will soon give way to improved infrastructure and economic expansion.
“This government is fully committed to fixing our roads and opening up every community for growth and opportunity,” he stated.
He added, “The challenges we face today are temporary but the transformation ahead is permanent.”
Mr. Larbi noted that better roads would boost business activities, enhance safety and accelerate development for farmers, traders and the youth in the constituency.
He urged residents to remain patient and united, expressing confidence that Aowin would witness significant improvement under the current administration.
