The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has congratulated the Zug Raan, Naba Asigri Abugrago Azoka II, Paramount Chief of the Kusaug Traditional Area, on the successful outcome of the Otumfuo-led mediation which affirmed his position as the rightful Bawku Naba.
The commendation was delivered during a courtesy visit by the Greater Accra Kusasi Chief, Naba Billia Tiɛwin Faisel Mahama Abugri, and his delegation. King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II warmly received the delegation and expressed appreciation for the respect shown to him by the Zug Raan and his council.
The Ga Mantse praised the Zug Raan for his leadership and the calm and peaceful approach adopted throughout the mediation process. He urged all Kusasis to remain composed and continue to uphold peace while addressing any excesses within the community.
He further called on all factions involved in disputes to embrace non-violent approaches and traditional dialogue, describing them as the most effective means of resolving conflicts.
Touching on plans to organise the coronation of the Greater Accra Kusasi Chief, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II acknowledged the existence of some differences within the Kusasi community in Accra but appealed for unity and cooperation to ensure a successful and dignified ceremony.
The meeting also provided the opportunity for the delegation to wish the Ga Mantse a Happy New Year and to thank him for the warm reception he accorded the Accra Kusasi Chief during a short-notice visit last year.
