Some unknown persons suspected to be operatives of the National Security have been captured on video assaulting staff of the Ministry of Energy on the morning of Thursday, January 15 2026 at Kasoa Amanfrom.
The incident was captured in exclusive footage sighted by The1957News on social media.
According to eyewitness accounts, staff of the Ministry were travelling from Kasoa to their office in an official bus when they encountered a pickup truck parked dangerously close to the middle of the road, making it difficult for the bus to join the main highway.
As the bus exited onto the main road, a staff member reportedly alerted the pickup driver that the vehicle had been wrongly parked. Shortly afterwards, the pickup allegedly chased at top speed and crossed the Ministry bus, forcing the driver to manoeuvre to avoid a collision. The pickup is said to have crossed the bus a second time moments later.
Video footage from the scene shows occupants of the pickup truck, believed to be National Security personnel, attacking some of the Ministry staff through the windows of the bus. The assailants were later seen forcing their way onto the bus and assaulting the occupants.
In the process, three people including the bus driver were assaulted. One staff member was dragged off the bus and taken away by the attackers. The current whereabouts of the staff member remain unknown.
The incident has sparked public concern following the circulation of the footage on social media, as calls grow for an investigation into the alleged assault and the identity of those involved.

These culprits must be arrested as soon as possible. We are not in a banana Republic. This does not make any sense.
