How McDan celebrates Christmas with his daughters, appeals for kindness towards one another

Businessman Daniel McKorley, widely known as McDan, has appealed to Ghanaians to extend compassion and generosity this Christmas, warning that for many families the season has shifted from celebration to sheer survival.

In a Christmas message, McKorley said the worsening economic hardship has left countless households struggling to put food on the table, pay rent, or cope with the loss of loved ones over the past year.

He noted that what was once a manageable festive period for low income families has become increasingly unattainable, as basic items such as chicken, beef, rice and fish are now beyond the reach of many.

According to him, the reality of the season stands in stark contrast to the traditional image of joy, laughter and abundance. While some families prepare to celebrate, others are simply trying to endure each day.

McKorley stressed that small acts of kindness can have a powerful impact in these difficult times. He explained that an amount as modest as GH¢100, which may seem insignificant to some, could represent hope, relief and a lifeline to someone in need.

He encouraged Ghanaians to show empathy and generosity in whatever way they can as the year draws to a close, reminding the public that kindness does not always require grand gestures.

McKorley concluded by wishing Ghanaians a peaceful holiday season and extended goodwill from the McKorley family to families across the country.
