In the quiet village of Torkpo Adindonukor, near Tadzewu in the Volta Region of Ghana, a determined farmer named Adzaa is holding onto hope. For the past eight months, he has tirelessly sought access to free government-supplied dwarf coconut seedlings—a vital resource for his dream of establishing a sustainable coconut farm that could transform his life and uplift his community.
Unfortunately, these seedlings remain out of reach. On the open market, each seedling costs between GHS 15 and GHS 20, a price Adzaa simply cannot afford. He needs approximately 950 seedlings to begin this journey. That’s where your compassion and solidarity can make a lasting difference.
🌴 Why This Matters
- Alternative Livelihoods: This project will create jobs and income for youth and families in a remote, underserved area.
- Food Security & Climate Resilience: Coconut farming offers long-term sustainability and environmental benefits.
- Community Empowerment: Supporting Adzaa means investing in grassroots development and dignity through agriculture.

Every seedling counts. Every cedi brings us closer to a thriving, self-reliant village. Let’s plant hope together—one coconut tree at a time.
Support a good cause. Empower a farmer. Transform a community.
📜 Addendum: Timeline, Transparency, and Gratitude
- Donations are kindly expected before the rains set in — ideally by late March, to allow for land preparation and timely planting.
- The major rainy season in the Volta Region typically begins in April and lasts through June, making April to mid-May the optimal window for planting dwarf coconut seedlings.
- Contributions will also support land preparation, including clearing, soil enrichment, and layout — essential steps to ensure the seedlings take root and thrive.
- A list of all donors and supporters will be published after the presentation ceremony, as a gesture of gratitude and transparency.
- Your support today helps us catch the rains tomorrow — and plant the seeds of a better future.
