Maripoma Enterprise Limited, the contractor overseeing the Ofankor–Nsawam rehabilitation project, has announced a temporary traffic diversion on the Nsawam-bound lane from Achimota Neoplan to Pokuase.
The diversion is scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, 6 December 2025, and end at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, 7 December 2025.
The closure is necessary to facilitate asphalt works on a section of the main Ofankor–White House stretch as part of the ongoing dual carriageway rehabilitation project. The project aims to enhance road safety and improve traffic flow along the corridor.
During the 12-hour operation, all Nsawam-bound vehicles will be redirected onto the service road from Achimota Neoplan to Pokuase.
The contractor has urged road users to observe all traffic signs and follow the instructions of traffic management personnel stationed along the diversion route to ensure smooth and safe movement.
