Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi, Head Pastor of Conquerors’ Chapel in Kumasi, has declared that the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, will soon issue a directive that will favour Priscilla Ofori Atta, widely known as Odo Broni, in the ongoing dispute involving the late highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
Speaking on Angel FM, the prophet reaffirmed an earlier prophecy that the court ruling would go in her favour, urging Odo Broni to remain calm because, in his words, “the Lord will fight for her.”
He noted that he was unperturbed by the controversies surrounding the matter, stressing that God is concerned with the condition of the heart rather than outward appearances. He encouraged her to stay patient and composed.
The dispute arose from a long-standing legal contest over the estate and funeral arrangements of Daddy Lumba. Odo Broni, who lived with the musician for more than fifteen years and had six children with him, maintains that she was his rightful wife under customary marriage.
Tensions escalated when Akosua Serwaa, who said she married Lumba under civil law in Germany in 2004, sought a court declaration that she was the only lawful spouse. Odo Broni opposed the claim, arguing that the civil marriage had ended under customary practice when Serwaa allegedly returned the head drinks.
A ruling by a Kumasi High Court recognising both women as spouses sparked widespread public debate, with critics questioning the precedent and its implications for the integrity of legal marriage.
Reasserting his prophetic authority, Prophet Worlasi said he has already seen the outcome of the matter. He declared that the Manhyia Palace would also issue an order that would favour Odo Broni, adding, “My words do not fall to the ground. Whatever I say comes to pass. I have seen everything that is happening and everything that is about to happen.”
