I am deeply grateful to Honorable Alan Kyerematen for the personal call to serve and for the trust he placed in me during the formation of the Movement for Change. It was my fervent wish to use the vehicle of Alan Kyerematen's political strides to bring my God-given skills and talents to bear on national transformation.
In the course of the campaign, I was entrusted with several critical roles, serving as a Technical Advisor for Field Operations, the Coordinator for Rapid Response and Agenda Setting, a Frontline Communicator, and the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator. Furthermore, with the help of two mates, Agabus and Samuel Sarpong, I mobilized resources to start Afrafranto Radio Online, a platform that became a vibrant studio for our campaign. My commitment was driven by a sincere belief in the cause and a desire to see our nation progress.
After thoughtful reflection on the recent transformation of the movement into the United Party, I have concluded that my path must diverge. My initial commitment was to the specific, citizen-focused ideals of the Movement for Change. The decision to transition into a formal political party represents a fundamental shift in strategy and principle that I cannot, in good conscience, align with. I believe the change Ghana needs must be built on a foundation that consistently prioritizes innovative engagement, internal inclusivity, and a clear break from the political traditions we initially sought to challenge.
I remain unwavering in my commitment to serving Ghana and contributing to its development. I extend my best wishes to Mr. Kyerematen and all members of the United Party in their future endeavours. I now look forward to channelling my efforts through other avenues, continuing to advocate for the human development and transformational leadership that our nation so richly deserves.
