HOME OF PROF. ATTA MILLS’ BROTHER BURGLED.

By E Kwashie Agben
HOME OF PROF. ATTA MILLS BROTHER BURGLED.
03 OCT 2007 LISTEN

It has come to the notice of the Atta Mills Campaign Team that in the late hours of Saturday night, September 29, 2007, there was a break in at the Potomac, Maryland, residence of Dr Cadman Atta Mills, younger brother of the NDC flagbearer who hosted him during his recent visit to the US.

Although investigations continue, a preliminary assessment of the crime scene according to a police source is that the burglars were not professionals but amateurs who were interested in items other than property. It goes without saying that with the 2008 elections approaching, certain over zealous political opponents are taking the law into their own hands in a attempt to win the favour of their paymasters and also intimidate members and sympathizers of the NDC.

The Atta Mills Campaign has taken note of many such incidents including this current one and will respond appropriately at the right time. In the meantime, the Campaign team wishes to inform all NDC members and sympathizers that it will be assisting the law enforcement agencies with information that is available to it in order to help address this cancer. It also wishes to use this opportunity to assure the “NDC family” both home and abroad that measures are being put in place to ensure the security of our documents and the safety of our supporters.
