New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Bryan Acheampong, has revealed that he will officially launch his campaign in November as part of efforts to lead the party into the 2028 general elections.

The Abetifi Member of Parliament disclosed this after submitting his nomination forms at the party’s head office in Accra on Wednesday, August 27.

He urged his supporters to remain disciplined and avoid divisive politics, stressing that his campaign will be focused on unity and rebuilding the party’s strength.

The lawmaker assured delegates and party faithful that his agenda would prioritize jobs, food security, and infrastructure development to secure Ghana’s future.

According to him, his campaign would not just be about winning but also about mobilizing the youth and restoring hope within the NPP.

“In November, I shall launch my campaign. It will be the NPP campaign. It will be a big campaign, and we will fight and win,” he said.

The Abetifi MP further expressed gratitude to party members and supporters from across the country who had travelled long distances to accompany him for the filing.

“Having now submitted my form to run as flagbearer of the NPP, it effectively means that I have submitted my declaration for unity for a disciplined campaign,” he said.

Meanwhile, the businessman has expressed optimism about winning the party’s January 31, 2026 presidential primaries which sees him contesting former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong, former General Secretary Kwabena Agyei Agyepong and others.
