Ohemaa Akua Becky, Founder of "Kyerewadwene Pi," a local charitable organization dedicated to helping the needy, has donated essential items to the Saint Francis Xavier Hospital at Assin Fosu in the Central Region.

The donation, valued at approximately GH¢14,000.00, included refrigerators, assorted drinks, bottled water, and other supplies.

Presenting the items, Ohemaa Becky explained that the gesture was aimed at supporting and enhancing the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services to its patients.

“The items are to support and enhance the hospital's capacity to provide quality healthcare services to its patients,” she said.

She added that the donation reflects the group's commitment to improving the lives of people in the Assin Fosu Municipality and its surrounding communities. Ohemaa Becky further appealed to the hospital authorities to use the items for their intended purposes and promised to collaborate with NGOs, philanthropists, and other organizations to continue supporting the needy.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the hospital, Sister Georgina Donzing, the Sister-in-Charge, expressed her gratitude to Kyerewadwene Pi for their generosity. She assured the group that the items would be used effectively to benefit all patients.

She also praised the group's efforts, noting that their support demonstrates the power of collaboration and philanthropy in strengthening healthcare delivery and promoting well-being in local communities.

Sister Donzing further appealed for assistance to acquire a generator for the hospital, which is urgently needed to power their oxygen machines and meet critical healthcare needs.
