The CEO of National Youth Authority (NYA) Hon Ayariga Osman reiterated the Authority's dedication to empowering young people through various initiatives, including skills training, capacity-building programs, and infrastructure development.

He encouraged the youth to participate in the upcoming National Apprenticeship Program, set to be launched soon by HE John Dramani Mahama.

During his address at the International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES) Ghana 2025, he highlighted key initiatives from the NYA aimed at tackling youth unemployment and promoting innovation. Osman stressed that the Authority is open to all youth-related programs and partnerships that align with its mission to equip young individuals with the tools they need to thrive.

He noted that the NYA is currently establishing youth centers across the country, which will serve as training and mentorship hubs. Furthermore, there will be a new program focused on providing practical training in vocational and technical skills, ensuring that young people acquire hands-on knowledge for sustainable careers.

Osman also invited individuals interested in volunteering for NYA-led programs, emphasizing the vital role of mentorship and guidance in cultivating the next generation of leaders.

IYES Ghana, an annual event aimed at inspiring and empowering youth, gathers leading speakers, industry experts, and policymakers to engage with young people on topics of personal growth, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The summit continues to play a crucial role in equipping Ghana’s youth with the skills and mindset necessary for driving positive change.

He concluded by expressing gratitude to the IYES team, especially Pastor Brian Amoateng.
