ORAL report to be submitted to President Mahama today – Domelevo

Former Auditor-General Daniel Yaw Domelevo has confirmed that the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee will submit its report to the president today, February 10, 2025.

Domelevo, a member of the five-man committee, made the announcement in a Facebook post, stating, “The report will be presented today—if you know, you know. For God and Ghana, no fear or favour.”

The ORAL Committee was set up by the president to lay the groundwork for the implementation of one of his key campaign promises—recovering state resources allegedly stolen by public officials.

The committee includes Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Daniel Yaw Domelevo, Martin Kpebu, Raymond Archer, and Nathaniel Kofi Boakye.

Last week, while addressing a gathering in Cape Coast, the president reiterated his commitment to tackling corruption.

He assured the public that once he receives the ORAL report, it will be forwarded to relevant institutions responsible for investigating corruption and related offences.

He emphasised that his administration is not only focused on infrastructure development but also on securing a brighter future for the next generation through transparency and accountability.

The president also announced plans to implement a strict system of accountability and introduce a code of conduct for individuals in positions of trust.

He stressed that his anti-corruption efforts will not be selective, stating that officials from both the previous and current governments will be held accountable.
