Private legal practitioner, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw, has stated that President John Dramani Mahama’s victory in the 2024 elections has imparted important life lessons to him.
Prior to the election, he was sure that the people of Ghana were not going to allow a former President to return to power.
To him, there was no way the former President could be made President again considering his track record.
However, he was shocked that at the end of the election, former President Mahama won with a wide margin, which he is yet to come to terms with.
Lawyer Maurice Amapaw was speaking on GTV Ghana when he made this known.
He said, “It [Mahama’s victory] has taught me that at the end of the day, Mahama proved to me that everything is possible.”
Maurice Ampaw, who vowed to relocate to Togo should the former President win the election, did not follow through with his promise because, to him, Ghana is more developed than Togo.
