An Earnest Appeal to President John Dramani Mahama: Recognizing the Commitment of Chiana-Paga Constituency

We, the people of Chiana-Paga Constituency, have been unwavering in our loyalty to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), consistently delivering decisive victories in every election. Our commitment to the party has been demonstrated time and time again, with increasing margins that reflect the trust and hope we place in the NDC's vision for Ghana.

However, despite this steadfast loyalty, we cannot help but feel overlooked in your recent nominations for public office. Chiana-Paga Constituency, a pillar of support for the NDC, has been conspicuously absent from the list of ministerial and key public appointments. This omission is both disheartening and puzzling, especially considering the caliber of competent, qualified, and visionary individuals within our constituency who are more than capable of serving our nation with distinction.

Your Excellency, we understand the immense responsibility that comes with leading a nation and the need to make strategic appointments that drive development. However, we humbly ask: Are we, the people of Chiana-Paga Constituency, not loyal enough? Is our contribution to the party not significant? What crime have we committed to warrant such neglect from successive governments?

Our people have stood by the NDC through thick and thin, believing in its principles of inclusivity and fairness. We have brilliant minds in fields such as governance, education, health, and economics who are ready to serve Ghana at the highest levels. All we ask for is an opportunity—a chance to contribute directly to the development of our beloved country.

Your Excellency, the pain of being overlooked time and again weighs heavily on us, but our faith in your leadership remains unshaken. We appeal to you to consider the sacrifices and contributions of Chiana-Paga Constituency. Including representatives from our constituency in your administration would not only restore hope and pride among our people but also reaffirm the NDC's commitment to equitable representation.
