My horrible experience with Ace Money Transfer

In the last passing week I tried to send some money to Ghana for a project. Due to the size of the project, I have to send the money in lots.

ACE started asking me for the source of my founds including payslip, proof of savings and etc.

I sent them my payslips, my wife’s payslip and bank statements but they came back to ask for my income tax assessment document. Even when my son transferred money to my bank account they queried it despite there was sufficient information available to them to understand where that money came from.

As if that was not enough, they came back on 16 December 2024, requesting that I should provide them details of the person I am sending the money to in Ghana including his place of birth, date of birth, email address and photo ID. I find this request appalling as if I were transferring money to American, they would not ask for the same information.

They also asked me to share my pay slip for the recent month despite I have provided them that the day or so before.

I informed them I am not providing anything again, they should cancel the transaction and refund my money to me.
