
Charles Asiedu, the 2024 Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Tano South Constituency won the seat in the parliamentary elections.
He polled 20,056 votes to unseat the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP), Mr Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere, who had 19,061 votes.
Mr Christopher Kofi Nti, an Independent Candidate also had 375 votes.
There were 316 rejected ballots, out of the 39,492 total valid votes cast in the constituency.
