North Tongu Member of Parliament, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has strongly criticized the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) for its handling of the double identity case involving Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng.

In a social media post on Tuesday, November 26, Ablakwa accused CHRAJ of failing to adequately address crucial evidence in the case but chose to exonerate Kusi Boateng, despite what he called “clear evidence” of identity fraud.

Ablakwa’s petition to CHRAJ, filed in January 2023, focused on allegations that Kusi Boateng, who serves as the Secretary of the National Cathedral Board of Trustees, held two passports under different names and had engaged in a range of conflicts of interest.

The case also highlighted a controversial financial transaction involving GH¢2.6 million transferred to Kusi Boateng’s company, JNS Talent Centre Limited.

However, CHRAJ’s findings cleared Kusi Boateng of the allegations, stating that he only held one passport under the name Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.

The Commission also dismissed the claim of multiple identities, asserting that the transfer of funds to JNS Talent Centre was part of Kusi Boateng’s efforts to pay contractors for the National Cathedral project.

In his post, Ablakwa outlined several points where he believed CHRAJ had failed in its investigation, particularly by ignoring critical evidence that showed discrepancies in Kusi Boateng’s identities.

The lawmaker pointed out the conflicting dates of birth and names found in official databases such as the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), the National Identification Authority, and the Electoral Commission.

“It’s most regrettable that CHRAJ appears not to be bothered about damaging its own credibility with this ridiculous whitewash of the criminal double identity scheme of Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng/Kwabena Adu Gyamfi,” Ablakwa wrote.

He further questioned how CHRAJ could justify its conclusion, given the conflicting details surrounding Kusi Boateng’s two identities.

“How does CHRAJ’s claim that Victor Kusi Boateng possesses one passport in a different name (Kwabena Adu Gyamfi) whose date of birth is different from his Victor Kusi Boateng date of birth clear the double identity champion?” he asked.

That fake pastor and prophet, Kusi Boateng, has escaped 10 years of imprisonment because of the corrupt, weak, and incompetent judiciary system of the Akufo Addo-Bawumia government. He should go to any part of Europe and America with his double identity and see what will happen to him. The NDC administration should officially send letters to the UK and American embassies, backed by evidence. Since they consider acts as fraud or crime, that man will be denied visas for the rest of his life t...
