Hon. Alhassan Abdullah Iddi, Member of Parliament for Salaga North has launched a 15km road network project connecting Kpashagu to Tamale in the North Gonja District.
According to him, the project marks the second road network he has successfully lobbied for, demonstrating his commitment to development.
He said the road project is expected to bring significant relief to the area, especially for farmers. He added that it will be historic in the Savannah region as it will be asphalted before commissioning.
Hon. Iddi urged traditional rulers and opinion leaders to support the developmental agenda of the area.
Hon. Mohammed Musah Musah Timdawu, District Chief Executive of North Gonja, assured that the district will continue to benefit from Akufo-Addo's "Years of Roads" initiative if the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is re-elected.
He highlighted ongoing projects, including the Agenda 111 road at Kpalbe, which will be completed under the current MP and NPP government.
Chief Osman Adam, Kabongasewura, expressed gratitude on behalf of the area's chiefs to the governing party for the ongoing projects.
He praised Hon. Iddi and NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for prioritizing the people's needs, saying that the kind of development they are seeing serves the interests of North Gonja.
He said the project demonstrates the NPP's commitment to infrastructure development and improving the lives of Ghanaians.
