Chieftaincy, Tradition and Culture Siaw Ampadu installed Tufohene of Kwahu Obomeng

Businessman and a former Co-Chairman of the Abossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association, Samuel Siaw Ampadu, has been installed as the Tufohene of Kwahu Obomeng in the Eastern Region.

He is with the Stool Name, Nana Siaw II.
Hundreds of both Kwahu indigenes and non-indigenes trooped to Kwahu Obomeng to join chiefs and people to install the new Tufohene.

In a colourful event which took place on the night of Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Kwahu Obomeng's Chief's Palace, Nana Siaw II sword an oath of allegiance in the full glare of Ninfahene, Benkumhene, the Queen mother of Kwahu Obomeng, and the Chief of Obomeng, Odeefo Nana Effah Pinamang III.

There was a traditional display of culture to depict the installation of the Nana Siaw II.

The Chief of Kwahu Obomeng, Odeefo Nana Effah Pinamang III, advised the newly stalled Tufohene to be truthful to the people of Obomeng and beyond.

He said being a chief is to serve and not to ride on the subjects, adding, “as the Tufohene, you have to advise yourself first being able to advise the entire community and myself”.

Odeefo Nana Effah Pinamang III explained that with truth and service to the people, the community would development which would benefit Ghana.
