Veteran actor Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, has called on the youth of Ghana to support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Speaking at the NPP’s manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, August 18, Agya Koo emphasized the need to recognize the developmental projects initiated by President Akufo-Addo’s administration.
He urged the youth not to be swayed by empty promises from other political parties, stressing that continuity with the NPP would secure Ghana’s future.
“Looking at how President Akufo-Addo and his government have provided for the nation, especially with developmental projects, we should be grateful.
“I urge the youth not to be deceived by sweet talk. For the future of Ghana and our children, I plead with you to vote for the NPP,” Agya Koo stated.
The NPP launched its manifesto for the December 7 elections, highlighting the vision and plans of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
