Ejisu by-election: I’m the only person who worked for NPP from the grassroots to top level — MP ‘brags’

Newly elected Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency, Lawyer Kwabena Boateng, has attributed his victory in the Ejisu by-election to his long-standing dedication and hard work in the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Boateng emphasized that among the four candidates who contested for the Ejisu parliamentary seat, he stood out due to his extensive service to the party at all levels.

"Amongst the candidates who contested, I am the only person who worked hard from the grassroots, through to the top level," Boateng stated.

He highlighted his unique position as a sitting constituency officer, which set him apart from his competitors.

"I was the only person who was a sitting constituency officer... the only Ejisu constituency officer serving the constituency and the party," he explained.

Boateng believes this continuous service and commitment were key factors in securing the voters' trust and support.

“I’m sure that is part of the reason the people voted for me. They saw how I’ve served them diligently and decided to reward me,” he added.
