On Wednesday, 3rd January 2024, President Akufo-Addo swore into office three Justices of the Supreme Court.

Nana Akufo-Addo congratulated the new justices - Justice Henry Anthony Kwofie, Justice Yaw Darko Asare and Justice Richard Adjei-Frimpong on their appointments to the highest Court of the land, the Supreme Court.

The President full of praises for the three said they have each met the stringent requirements for appointment, set forth in article 128 clause 4 of the Constitution, and are deemed to have the independence of spirit, high moral character, proven integrity and impartiality of mind to hold this high office.

He described their appointments as, thus, truly well-deserved and merited.
