NPP Diaspora4DMB Commends Bawumia's Timely Decision to Save NPP

NPP Diaspora4DMB is a group of the New Patriotic Party members based in the diaspora. It's a group that believes in the ability of Dr Bawumia to break the 8 and subsequently take Ghana to the next level in terms of national development.

Not long ago, the campaign towards the second and final phase of the New Patriotic Party's presidential primaries started. All four contestants have hit the ground running, leaving no stone unturned. They are going rounds trying to convince the delegates that they are the best candidate to break Ghana's political jinx. Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has started a limited voter registration exercise, causing attention of the rank and file of the party to be divided. The party need a timely intervention to refocus attention towards the EC voter registration, which has a huge impact on the election 2024. As he has always done in times of need, Dr. Bawumia made a timely decision to save the party.

The Vice President and the ruling NPP presidential candidate, Bawumia, suspended his ongoing campaign tour, effective Saturday, 23rd September 2023. This decision was solely made by Bawumia for the EC Registration Exercise. This singular decision would afford the party, especially the polling station executives, to concentrate on the exercise. NPP Diaspora4DMB joins the rank and file of the party to commend the Vice President for making the party’s success an utmost priority. In crucial moments, a true leader makes timely decisions and crucial interventions. Dr. Bawumia, your NPP support base in the diaspora trusts your judgement and commitment.

NPP Diaspora4DMB wishes the Vice President all the best when he uses the campaign break to visit selected E.C. Registration Centers. NPP supporters in the diaspora join Team Bawumia’s call for all party faithful to focus on mobilizing eligible persons to register for their voter’s ID card and work hard to achieve each constituency’s registration target.
