Jerry Rawlings is self-centered, selfish, arrogant and disrespectful to Ghanaians. He thinks he is the only person to rule Ghana.
Sometimes, I don't blame him; because we have people like Asiedu Nketia, Alban Bagbin, and the Tony Aidoos who worship him, because of his skin color (oburoni). Such people need mental liberation to respect who they are as dark-skinned people.
Jerry Rawlings knows the mentality of ignorant Ghanaians (both intellectuals and educated illiterates who look at the white man as superior). That is the reason why he is misbehaving and insulting Ghanaians.

You need to learn how to respect yourself. If we Ghanaians would show no respect for our leaders, we must not expect anyone to respect them. Democratic nations like USA did not have it easy, they went through thick and thin.
