Samuel Koku Anyidoho, a former deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress has said despite his criticisms of John Dramani Mahama and other party leaders, he has no plans to quit the party.
In a tweet on May 15, Mr. Anyidoho said he is a man of integrity and will always remain with the NDC.
The comment comes amid speculations that Mr Anyidoho may resign from the NDC after his preferred flagbearer aspirant, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, failed to win the party's primaries.
However, Mr. Anyidoho made it clear he has no intention of leaving the NDC.
As the CEO of the Atta Mills Institute, he said he will continue speaking for accountability and good governance within the NDC.
"What will I benefit from forming a new political party? Why should I leave the NDC? It is only cowards who run away from their fights - if they have no integrity. I have integrity so I shall forever remain in the NDC & speak for "probity and accountability," Anyidoho tweeted on Monday, May 15.
