The Chiefs and traditional leaders of Akpini in the Kpando Constituency have lauded the Member of Parliament for the area, Della Sowah for her commitment to the development of the area.
The state-of-the-art facility will serve as a meeting place for chiefs and elders in the 15 divisions in Kpando.
The Member of Parliament was recently accompanied by the leadership of the NDC in the constituency to officially hand over the Sowah Resource Centre to the chiefs in the community.
Della Sowah was optimistic that this would go a long way to help in the affairs of the traditional leaders and also impact the community positively.
She further urged all the constituents to put their shoulders on the wheel in harmony for a better Akpini and further pledged her commitment to the development agenda of the community.
Della Sowah also expressed her sincere gratitude to the Afidemenyo family of Deveme for giving out the land and the Ghana National Petroleum Company (GNPC) for the project support.
The paramount chief of the Akpini traditional area Okpekpewoekpe Dagadu IX during the handing-over ceremony could not hide his joy. He was full of praise for the edifice.
