This Is Why Africa Is Poor

This Is Why Africa Is Poor
07.11.2022 LISTEN

Have you ever Imagined why Africa produces oil in large quantities and yet do not refine their oil at home but have to export them to European countries to be refined and brought back to us only to be sold at neck breaking prices?

Have you ever wondered why our leaders have no interest in developing our industries but rather interested in importing goods and services that can be produced in Africa?

The answer is simple, they are paid to make Africans poor, European companies bribe them in millions of dollars not to develop Africa so that we can continue to be suppliers of raw materials.

Glencore one of the world's largest natural resource companies is currently before court in the UK for bribing government officials in Nigeria and Cameroon. They carry millions of dollars in private Jets to these countries to bribe our politicians so that they can have easy and cheap access to our oil and other natural resources.

This is why Africa is unable to develop, this is why poverty in Africa cannot end.

Unfortunately the people of Africa keep electing and re-electing thieves to rule over them and in turn expect development good leadership.

Nigeria, a country with a population of over 200 Million people only have a power generation capacity hovering around 5000 MW mainly because some politicians are selling generators and therefore developing the power sector will impact their businesses.

Most of Africa's imports are made by politicians and therefore there is no incentive for them to develop the manufacturing sector. They prefer to pocket a few million dollars than allow the state and the entire population make billions of dollars.

As a result even though Africa has about 60% of the world's arable land Africa still imports food to feed its people, Africa cannot feed itself.

Africa is not poor, Africa only has a leadership crises and the Western world is to be thanked for the leadership crises Africa has.

Whenever a strong leader arises in Africa who is willing to develop his country and liberate his people from the chains of donor dependency, he/she easily becomes a threat and a target.

No wonder the CIA assassinated Patrice Lumumba of the Democratic Republic of Congo and overthrew Dr Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana.

Though the future of the African continent may seem bleak, I believe Africa will yet rise again. I see a massive revolution in Africa. I have seen it start in Nigeria where the youth are rallying behind a man who does not bribe people to vote for him, a man who has proven himself to serve with dignity and devoid of any corrupt practices.

That wave of revolution will spread across the length and breadth of Africa. I see a day coming where evil and corrupt African leaders will flee Africa because they cannot withstand the fierce wrath of the youth of this continent.

The day is coming and might be sooner than expected.
