The Dean of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFSC), Professor Vladimir Antwi-Danso has backed calls for the closure of radio stations in Bawku.
Security Analyst Adam Bona said the radio stations are spewing lies and fueling the conflicts in troubling Bawku.
He noted that people call in to the radio stations to give all manner of false accounts and accusations.
The closure, Professor Vladimir Antwi-Danso said is in the right direction if only those radio stations have been noted to be fanning the flames of the conflict in the area.
“If the media is fueling the conflict in Bawku then I will agree with those who have called for the shut down of the media houses there,” he said on the Sunrise show on 3FM Monday March 21 while reacting to the Bawku conflict.
