The People Gets The Government They Deserve

Is exceedingly sobering how our governments are leading the country, it is apparent that they are driving us to a quagmire of doom. Ghana needs a national Vision, a leadership and Economic trajectory where every government abides by that vision to cruise the nation to rapid development and Economic transformation of the people. This should be a complex roadmap imbibed in gross development.

The Economic life of the people depends solely on the government of the day. The government we entrust the country's vast resources and wealth is the sole responsible for mitigating and eradicating poverty, hunger and Economic strains. Our country has good citizens carrying every iota of government responsibility and for this substance, no government should fail or struggle to render good leadership to the people. The people cloth,feed,build(shelter) educate, develop themselves and medically treat themselves. These are basic governmental responsibilities, to take care of all the needs of her citizens by ensuring the country is sailing on a robust Economy and Economic security for all.

Ghana over the years did not lost revenue but the country gained enormous funds from taxes, oil and covid funds from the IMF and world bank. Albeit, our leaders looted and plundered on these funds at the dispense of the people including funds intended for covid pandemic.

The government of Nana Addo is auspicious but illicit spending's, misappropriation of funds, Fraud, tax evasion and investors capital flight is what has submerged Ghana's economy and we are a debt distress country with a debt to GDP of about 80% with feeble Economic growth. This is a glaring abysmal development in our Economics which needs a swift attention.

The president has demonstrated that, he is a monied president that is very obstinate and full of profligacy since his coming to office. The president has also exhibited that he is a class president for the elites' folks and not for the impoverished and vulnerable people who voted him. He stands for luxury and his propensity for a luxurious lavish lifestyle pushed him to rent a private jet worth 15000 and 17000 dollars an hour, respectively abandoning the state presidential jet. This is how the insensitive and mis-leadership of the Akufo Addo lead government has attained. This inordinate sum of money could be channelled to Agriculture, factories or revamp those at the verge of collapsing, creation of jobs, completing abandoned and uncompleted projects, rural electrification, drinking water and the likes but the president preference is to wastefully splash on his self-interest.

Then candidate Akufo Addo in opposition deceived the entire country that he was the Messiah to save God's people. He said he was competent, credible and that he is coming to protect the public purse but with time he has exhibited that he is a misleader and a sheep in the wolves skin. He came to drain the purse and doing so he has incurred about 70 % of the country's accumulated public debt stock without empathy for the Ghanaians and the unborn generation. Today, NANA ADDO as president has sodomized the state purse, milking every nectar of it to its knees. The youth are still jobless after they campaigned vigorously about unprecedented job creation where we would import human resource to help with the excess availability of jobs to blow the country. Is scandalous they are still touting this fiasco. Again, our youth are desperate and hopelessly alienated. This government has fueled the agonies, sufferings, and frustrations of the masses especially our youth and graduates. Their hopes and future were touted on political rallies as the panacea to societal prejudice, youth unemployment and poverty elevation but it turned to be fraudulent and a mere political gimmickry and rhetoric.

However, is very disheartening and incredibly ridiculous how the youth whose responsibility is to hold politicians and our elites and folks accountable for their wrongs and dishonesty have turned to be political sycophants and tribal bigots defending criminal folks while endangering tribes using double standard and propaganda to score wrong political points. They are Quisling with these state adversities and lickspittlers to ruin the country.

Is time to protect ourselves and the unborn generation Economically and it is prudent to doing this now in order to rescue the remnants of our resources. We have the mantle with limited time to rescue and protect our country or we are better dead than alive to witness the agonies of the next generation.

The Economic insurgents and mis-leadership in this country must come to an end. We must form a third force now and demand for accountability and everything that is due this country and her Citizens.
