I'm not a huge fan of football but this year's euros have really put me on my feet creating a mixed feeling of pain, disappointment and sadness. It was one of the not so surprising moments in football when England lost to Italy, as an ardent fan of English football my heart and soul were really pumped up for action to experience a quality game from an already poised up English team who were prepared to grab a trophy of victory. But it turned out to be an explosion of disappointment on my part as England lost to Italy on penalties.

My heart is now in tears and in shambles because of the amount of pain that loss brought to me. I believe I'm more in pain than the whole of England combined. The first goal from Luke Shaw really put us on an edge giving us all the confidence we needed but I think that goal was just to prepare a victory route for the Italians, because it really gave them the momentum to up their game. They were the better side I must say dominating play and creating most chances, having most of the possession, which really proved that winning was indeed a great agenda for them. For sure the English in the tail end of the first half and the rest of the second half did not really seem as an aggressive side who wanted to win. Whilst the Italians were attacking they were rather defending, and so they could not create enough chances in the half side of Italy which in turn gave no sort of a task for the Italian goalkeeper.

My fellow English fans, football I might say is quite a game of mystery, everyone thought England had an advantage because of home support, but it turned out home support is not always an advantage one can rely on. So let us not be dismayed and wait for our turn, but trust me I will never support a team with all my emotions attached to it again. I will just hope that my team will win and have it at the back of mind that we can also loose.

But I will rather say my thank you to Saka, Rashford and Sancho for an amazing game of football, they had a good time by breaking my spirit and laying to bear a monument of disaster in the walls of my captivated football soul. All I can say is Kudos to Italy for making me loose my bet, well if you want to know I placed a stake of Gh¢1.00 and I painfully lost it.

Betway thank you for eating my last Gh¢1.00 and kudos to Italy for beating my team.Well it has ended in tears for me and all my eulogies for England have been buried deep in the ground. Now I know football is truly an incomprehensible game because twenty two men chasing one ball is surely something else but the spirit it carries and the unity it wields is surely great and massive.

Lastly let me make this revelation, the efficacy of black men in this euros has really been worthwhile, they did not just score they also proved how lethal they are in destroying a team's chances of winning. Mbappe managed to send France home by not scoring the penalty against Switzerland and the big three of England managed to cause the English their first Euros cup on home soil. Wow, kudos to the black community, we can save and also destroy that means we are awesome and must be treated with care.

Ghana has disappointed me so many times and now England too, on club side too I'm a mess because my team is Manchester United.
