The opportunity has arrived for us to confront the facts, face the truth and offer hope to our kin. An opportunity to tell them what they should hear, not to hoodwink them, but to affirm the greatness of our beloved nation.
Time to disclose to them that, the development of this nation can not occur overnight, or by magic. We are here to avow our qualities and responsibilities towards the development of this state. We should disclose to them the task ahead, the troubles or difficulties in front of us, and our plan towards it.
We should reveal to them the requirement needed in changing the status quo. We should tell them their role and the need to build this country. The politics of hope can fuel it all.
The Hope
Hope for an average Ghanaian who thinks or believes Ghana is a better place to make life. Hope despite troubles, dissatisfaction, and frail system. Hope that can guarantee a normal Ghanaian decent medical care, a solid legal system, and equal opportunity for all.
Hope that can guard our natural resources and keep our water bodies clean. Hope that can give genuine meaning to leadership, and hope that can beef up our moral fibres.
Hope that can talk strongly against corruption and indiscipline in our institutions. Hope that can scowl it face against injustice, lawlessness, and Politics of equalization. Hope that can build the inner peace and joy of the masses.
The politics of hope that rewards hard work, and urges individuals to be faithful and loyal to the country. Hope that can guarantee us a great security system and can guarantee peace and lawfulness.
Hope that can help bridge the gap between the poor and the rich. Hope that can help settle our unemployment issues. Hope that can fortify our permeable system, and help us move towards progress. Hope that can promise a stabilized energy or power system for the next century.
Hope that can urge the poor to look for justice at the law court. Hope that can help judge people based on the content of their character, but not their political affiliation. Hope that can bury the culture of silence in our system, and can encourage people to contribute positively towards the development of this great nation.
Politics of Hope is the thing that we should practice, and I realize this will introduce trust in our political, legal, health, educational, and energy system.
Hope is something we should build upon and urge generations yet unborn to cultivate the same. This can help break the glass ceiling!
May God favor us, and give us the spirit of good Leadership and service.
