The NPP Spain branch wishes to congratulate H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on his election as the new Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) at the organisation's 57th Summit, held in Niamey, Niger.
H.E Akufo-Addo has with his election demonstrated his Pan-African credentials and commitment to the development of the Regional body.
In Ghana, President H.E Akufo is leading an agenda of free education and industrialisation - two critical sectors the Region needs in order to bring prosperity to its people.
We are assured that by his election, His Excellency, will share this passion and policy with the people and governments of the Region.
We acknowledge that the election of H.E Akufo-Addo would strengthen governance and partnership across the Region.
In H.E Akufo-Addo, ECOWAS has a capable, bilingual, and development-oriented leader. We know he delivers.
He will deliver on this mandate, too.
Long live ECOWAS. Long Live Ghana
