Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari has thanked the numerous well-wishers who have congratulated her on the delivery of her twins.
The actress delivered the twins – both girls – about two weeks ago in the United States.
Shortly after the delivery, father of the actress Alhaji Sidiku Buari confirmed the news to Myjoyonline.com saying “It's true. She brought forth twins alright, that is true. I'm confirming [it] as the father.”
Breaking her long silence on the huge public debate generated by the delivery, Nadia Buari posted a note on photo sharing site Instagram.
She said: “how wonderful it is to feel cheered by one's loved ones! My heart throbs and thrives in joy by the much love you all have shown me and my little angels. We are eternally grateful. May my joy of the moment become your moment of joy as we enjoy this moment of God's blessing together. To God, to you and all who think forward, love you immensely. Kisses. Love, N.S.B”.
It is, however, still unclear who the father of the twins is.
Reports suggest Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke, who was publicly linked to Nadia, is not the father of the twins.
