MEET THE BUARI FAMILY

One family which for some years now has been in Ghana's showbiz circles from all angles right from the music industry, Ghallywood, down to modeling is the Buari Family.

The father, Alhaji Sidiku Buari is a former president of the Musician Union Association of Ghana (MUSIGA) where he served for eight (8) years before handing over the position to Bike Osei Kuffor popularly known as Obour. Due to his contribution towards the development of music in Africa and Ghana he was voted the former Vice President of the International Federation of Musicians (FIM).

Nadia Buari, one of the topmost actress on the screen, has become a house hold name in Africa especially in Ghana and Nigeria. Born in November 21, 1982, she came onto the screens in the TV series Games People Play in late 2005 and followed up with Mummy's Daughter and Beyonce with Van Vicker and Jackie Appiah. Nadia Studied Performing Arts at the University of Ghana, Legon and graduated with a BFA in fine Arts. She has starred in over countless number of movies.

Though not confirmed, Nadia once dated Chelsea Midfielder Michael Essien and the deep throat also has it that she also dated Dede Ayew. The latest gist on her love life is, she's about to be the third wife of a Nigerian politician and oil and gas turk, Joseph Tomowu who happens to be the husband of ex-Miss Delta Soap Queen Steph-Nora.

Blessed with beauty just like her younger sister Nadia, Shaida Buari is into modeling. She won Miss Ghana 2002 and made it to the finals of the Miss World Pageant were she made the nation proud. She stands for charity as she joined hands with Becca and some other stars to raise fund to support the needy in the society. Early last year, the beauty queen got married to her long time boy friend, Olukunle Olusola Nubi a Nigerian IT consultant at a colourful wedding ceremony which her sister Nadia couldn't attend.

Coming out with his single "Tell Em" some where last, Majeed Buari also followed the steps of her sisters and dad to jump into showbiz. His interests are much in video animations and rap music. The talented rapper who goes by the stage name Jeed Rogers released one of his creative works on his animated music video for the song "Tell Em" alongside Mugeez of R2Bees.

What a wonderful family they have. I wouldn't be surprised if this family knocks us out with another talent. It could be the mum, who knows.
