Weeks of speculation over the whereabouts of gospel musician Christian Love came to an end last week Saturday when she spoke on Peace FM' and said: “Watch out for me; I'm back”.

The last time Christina Love made a big public appearance in Ghana must have been at Ghana Music Awards last year when still pregnant with her third child, stepped up to receive two awards; Gospel Artiste of the year and best Collaboration of the Year with Kwaku Gyasi.

Obviously Christian had used her quiet time to have her baby. “I have been in Germany for the past few months,” she told Peace FM. “I went to do a couple of shows and also have my baby.”

She said that since her return to Ghana a couple of weeks ago, she and her songwriter husband have been in the recording studio putting finishing touches to a new album.

“I believe that something big is going to come out of this,” she said. “Everyone should watch out for a big bang soon.

Christina Love, according to her profile available on the web, was born Christina Twene, to Mr. Akwasi Twene and Madam Mary Amoah Twene in Kumasi.

She is the second of nine children. She got her showbiz name, Love, from her husband, Prophet Love Hammond, who is the leader and founder of the Life Power Miracle church, Odorkor in Accra.

By the time she finished her junior secondary school education, Christian was well known for her singing gospel songs in her church, The Redemption Assemblies of God Church, Kumasi, as well as in other churches.

Her choir master, Mr. Fiifi rocked formed a choral duo known as the Hallelujah Voices which comprised two of his best singers, Abena Tiwaa and Christina Love.

They sang in several churches and after some time released a record called Enye Nipa Nyinaa Na Enya No Saa.

She was spotted by the popular songwriter, composer and singer, Osuani Afrifa, who had visited a church where she was singing. He helped her produce her first album which had the hit song, Mete Ase (Meye Onyame ba).

Today, Christina Love has four albums to her credit and her song list of hits include Moving forward and Mesu Afre Me Nyame.

She has won several awards including a State Award conferred on her by ex-President John Kufuor.
