O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you?

I. CHILD OF GOD, I recount unto you the Apostle Paul's thunderous question to a distracted church, " [Galatians 3:1 KJV], this is not a question to the Galatian church; it is no longer just an ancient biblical rebuke, but it is a living headline for the modern Church. In a powerful synthesis of Scripture and current reality, theologians and church leaders are warning that the same spiritual bewitchment that lured the Galatians from faith to legalism is now luring the 21st-century Church from the Bible to electronic devices. And most alarming, pulpits that once thundered with the physical, open, honoured Book are now glowing with tablets and phones. This is the moment for a decisive return. Bring the Bible back to the Church. Bring the Bible back to the pulpit. Beloved, it is an error to place secular objects on a sacred altar. It is a curse to pollute the pulpit of God. The pulpit is a hallowed stand unto God, and the church is a consecrated place where the Christlike people meet to fellowship with omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient God.

II. SON OF GOD, who has BEWITCHED YOU? Paul’s rebuke was surgical. The Galatians had begun in the Spirit but were trying to be perfected by the flesh. They had seen Christ evidently set forth, crucified, yet they were bewitched into believing that human effort and external rules were superior to simple faith. Minister of the Gospel, who has charmed, dearly beloved, why have worldly things fascinated you, beloved brothers and sisters in the LORD, who or what is leading you astray as if under a spell? Today, resist the bewitchment of electronic devices that are distracting you. Beloved, watch out against the subtle deception that a Bible app is the same as a Bible-believing life. That a preacher reading a cold screen is the same as a preacher wrestling with a marked, sweaty, anointed Book. We have been bewitched to think convenience is consecration. We have traded conviction for connection. Wake up and repent of your evil deeds, stop polluting the pulpit, and stop misleading the congregation. Whatever is on your electronic devices is not the WORD and POWER OF GOD. No device can contain the POWER OF GOD.

III. DAUGHTER OF ZION, a Bible-believing church is led by a Bible-carrying pastor and a Bible-carrying congregation. When the pastor mounts the sacred pulpit with an iPad, what is he unconsciously preaching? That the Word of God is just another document, just another file, alongside his emails and WhatsApp messages. The physical Bible in the pulpit is not old-fashioned. It is theological. It is a statement of authority. The Pulpit Must Show Authority, Not Battery Percentage. The congregation must see the pastor open, lift, and read from the eternal Book, not swipe and scroll. THE BOOK that does not need charging. The congregation must be encouraged to own a Bible and read from it. Let us encourage new converts to read from the Bible and not an app; there is a difference between reading from your Bible and from an app. There is supernatural power in preaching from THE HOLY BOOK, THE BIBLE, placed on the Pulpit than preaching from a secular object. Isaiah 40:8 says, "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth, but the word of our God shall stand for ever."

IV. MY BELOVED SISTERS AND DEAR BROTHERS IN THE LORD, the Pulpit Must Serve as a Model. What the Pew Must Become. If the pastor does not carry his Bible to church, why should the member? We cannot preach "Search the Scriptures" (John 5:39) while we ourselves search a device. Pastors must lead by example: Carry your Bible. Open your Bible. Preach FROM the Bible, not just around it. An electronic device in the pulpit is a portal for the devil. One notification, one pop-up, one low-battery warning can break the flow of the preaching. The pulpit is a holy altar, not a digital desk. Let it be consecrated again for the Word alone. Galatians 3:1 says, "Before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth." How can Christ be evidently set forth if the people have no Bible to see it for themselves? We are raising believers who are biblically illiterate but digitally fluent. They can navigate YouTube but cannot navigate Genesis to Revelation. They come to church empty-handed, expecting the projector to feed them. That is not Berean Christianity. Acts 17:11 says the Bereans "searched the scriptures daily." Remember this is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's Vessel, Francis Ameyibor. Yes! A Christian without his Bible in church is a soldier without his sword on the battlefield. Ephesians 6:17

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP—O foolish Church of the 21st Century, who hath bewitched you? Who told you the screen is superior to the Scripture? Who told you that projection is more powerful than the printed, preserved, anointed Word? The device will fail you. The network will fail you. The battery will die. But the Word of God stands forever. Let us repent of this subtle idolatry. Let us dethrone the electronic device from the pulpit and the pew and re-enthron the Holy Bible.

PRAYER: LORD! From today, I will honour you. I will carry my Bible along. From today, I will mount the Pulpit holding my Bible, and I will preach from it. I will encourage others to carry their Bibles to church. LORD help me. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Let the Church say Amen! and let the Book return.
