I. DAUGHTER OF ZION, today, let me reveal a mystery to you. God is waiting for you to lower the noise so He can speak to you. Yes, we live in the noisiest season in human history, and the church is not exempted. Phones buzzing even in church. News feeds scrolling. Opinions shouting. Deadlines pressing. Even in church we fill every gap with music, announcements, and activity. We have gone loud and noisy. Forgetting that it’s not always that we must make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth; break forth let your cry ring out, and sing praises! As Psalm 98:4 reveals. Let us remember that there is a time for everything under the sun. In 1 Kings 19:11-12 God reveals a mystery to the Prophet “And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper.” There is a time for strong wind church service, another time for earthquake and fire service, but there is a time for that low voice church service. Are we sensitive to the times and seasons?

II. SON OF MAN, the Prophet Elijah learned this on Mount Horeb. God was not in the wind, not in the earthquake, not in the fire. He was in the sound of a low whisper. And that whisper is still speaking today. The problem is not that God is far. The problem is that we haven’t lowered the noise. God is waiting. Not because He is unwilling to speak, but because He is unwilling to shout over the clutter we’ve created. When we lower the noise, we position ourselves to hear the voice that leads, heals, and directs our lives. What is noise? Noise is anything that competes with God’s voice for your attention. Jesus warned about this in Luke 8:14: “The seeds that fell among the thorns represent those who hear the message, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and riches and pleasures of this life.” The enemy doesn’t always need to make you sin. Sometimes he just needs to make you busy through the noise. He distracts you with modern devices in Church. The devil takes the hard copy Bible which is reverence and replaces it with soft copy on your phone and tables which is competing for your attention with other notifications. Remember that a distracted believer is a powerless believer.

III. MY BELOVED SISTERS IN THE LORD, you cannot hear a whisper in a stadium. God is not shouting. He is whispering. And whispers require proximity and quiet. God has always chosen quiet places to do His deepest work. Moses: 40 days on Sinai, away from the camp. Exodus 33:11 “The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.” Elijah: Fed by ravens by the brook, then the cave, then the whisper. 1 Kings 17-19. Jesus: “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” Luke 5:16. There is power in a quiet place in the presence of the Lord. Even the Son of God had to pull away to hear the Father. Samuel: Learned to recognize God’s voice at night, in stillness. 1 Samuel 3:9 “Speak, for your servant is listening.” God is not distant. He is deliberate. He speaks where we are still able to receive.

IV. MY DEAR BROTHERS IN THE LORD, in Psalm 46:10 the Bible reveals, "Be still, and know that I am God.” Can you be still in the loud noise? Remember that the stillness comes first. Then knowing Him. God is not withholding. He is waiting on us. In Revelation 3:20: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in.” He knocks. He does not kick the door down. Can you hear the knock while you are engulfed in the noise? John 10:27: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” Hearing is part of building a relationship. God wants sons and daughters, not just servants running errands. When we lower the noise, three things happen: clarity comes, convictions come, and comfort comes. Mark 1:35: “And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.” It must be our habit to lower the noise so that God can speak to us. This is a DIVINE NEW DAY PROPHETIC WORD of encouragement sent forth through the authority and power of Christ Jesus and delivered to the brethren through God's Vessel, Francis Ameyibor, Yes! I strengthen you with Philippians 4:8: “Whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure... think about these things.”

V. 2026 IS OUR YEAR AND SEASON TO BE LIFTED UP—God often waits to give the next instruction until we obey the last one. One word from God is worth more than 1000 opinions from people.

PRAYER: Father, forgive us for filling our lives with so much noise that we missed Your voice. Teach us to be still. Teach us to listen. Speak, Lord, for Your servants are listening. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
