
A fresh student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Emmanuel Confidence has been adjudged Outstanding student sports presenter of the Year at the just-ended Third Edition of the Communications students’ Awards.
The prestigious occasion put together by Sky Infinity Global and sponsors took place at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Center of Excellence, Osu in Accra on Saturday 30th April 2022.
Emmanuel Confidence whip stiff competition from other great student sports journalists including HARUNA MUBARAK OWUSU PAUL ISAAC DONKOR (DISTINGUISHED) and a throng of others.
This win comes as no surprise as Mr. Confidence has won the heart and admiration of sports lovers in his line of mission as an exceptional student sports journalist who discusses and presents authentic and accurate sports stories on many radio stations in the city of Accra
He continues making great impacts with his sports analysis that bother on educating and updating sports on current happenings in the world of sports. Despite his interest in sports he also preaches the need to live in harmony as a country.
Speaking after taking the award, Mr. Confidence expressed his profound gratitude to the Almighty for the wisdom he has offered him.
He further gratified and dedicated the award to everyone who showed him, love and support during the voting period especially his colleagues on radio GIJ sports center, including the lines of Frank Appiah, Oheneba Mckeon, and all the crew.
“I am ever grateful to the Almighty God for his blessings on me, students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, St John's MYF, and also dedicate this award to everyone who supported me, especially the radio GIJ Sports Center crew, Oheneba Mckeon, Isaac Donkor, Frank Appiah and also to YPA and Ayiku Dagang.” He noted.
