Dear Auntie Betty,
I am 15 and in JHS Three. All JHS Three pupils have been asked to fill forms to choose the courses they would want to offer at the senior high school but I still don't know what I want to study.
Almost all my friends are through with theirs but l still have a problem.
I need your advice.
Priscilla,
Nkokua-Buoho.
Dear Priscilla,
It would be good to consult any of your subject teachers whom you feel comfortable with and ask him or her to help you.
You have to identify the subjects you are good at and that will guide you as to which course to offer at the SHS level. It should be either the Sciences, Arts, Home Economics, Business or Visual Arts.
You also need the advice and assistance of your parents to guide you to choose a career path, but a lot depends on you and the subjects you like and are comfortable with.
Whatever decision you make, be sure that you have chosen subjects that you are capable of studying. Do not choose certain courses because your friends have chosen them.
All the best.
