Ghanaian rap superstar Sarkodie has expressed his readiness to headline a joint concert with Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, describing the proposed musical event as one of his dreams.
In an interview, the award-winning rapper said he would be willing to perform alongside the two dancehall heavyweights at any time, stressing that the concert would be an exciting experience for Ghanaian music lovers.
“I’m very ready. If you say tomorrow, I will even be present. It would be so fun,” Sarkodie said.
The proposed concert would bring together three of Ghana’s biggest music stars on one stage, giving fans the opportunity to enjoy their biggest hits in a single night.
However, Sarkodie acknowledged that the success of such an event would depend on the willingness of all three artistes to work together and agree on making the dream a reality.
While Sarkodie already shares a cordial relationship with Shatta Wale, with the two having performed together on stage, a joint appearance involving Stonebwoy remains a major talking point among fans.
A concert featuring the three artistes could become one of Ghana’s most memorable musical events, combining Sarkodie’s rap classics, Shatta Wale’s dancehall anthems and Stonebwoy’s Afro-dancehall hits.
Whether the proposed concert will materialise remains uncertain, but Sarkodie’s comments have renewed interest in the possibility of seeing the three music icons share one stage.
