The Ghanaian public relations agency will compete alongside some of Africa’s finest for the highly coveted award in the coming weeks, marking yet another milestone in the brand’s journey.
With the West African Citizen Awards 2026 drawing near, Elite PR emerges as a nominee on the committee’s newly announced shortlist for PR Agency of the Year. The honor reflects the agency’s growing influence as a leading destination for public relations over the past six years, during which it has consistently managed the reputations of clients across Africa and in the diaspora.
The nomination follows years of ambitious campaigns that have established Elite PR as a trusted partner for artists, brands, and organizations seeking to strengthen their public image and connect with audiences across Africa and globally. As such, the recognition marks an important milestone in the agency’s journey toward becoming Africa’s premier hub for public relations.
Francis “Banks” Amissah, Founder and CEO of Elite PR echoed these sentiments. “This nomination stands as a testament to the work we’ve put into representing clients and helping make their impact felt,” he says. “At Elite PR, we’re committed to delivering the best possible experience for our clients while ensuring their stories are told with authenticity and flair. We’re grateful to be recognised alongside some of the industry’s finest and inspired to keep raising the bar.”
The West African Citizens Awards (WAFRIC Awards) is committed to celebrating the extraordinary accomplishments of those who strive to make a difference in West Africa. For the past five years, the prestigious platform has been active in spotlighting numerous achievements across multiple sectors in the region, fostering a culture of recognition and motivation. This year’s edition will be staged under the theme, “Recognizing the Unseen. Celebrating the Exceptional,” as the presiding body continues its mission to honor individuals and organizations.
