Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has sparked conversation after revealing that she would end a serious relationship if she found herself attracted to someone she considered more appealing.
The Rush hitmaker made the remark while responding to a relationship dilemma on her Ask Ayra Starr show.
According to her, honesty and clarity matter more than juggling emotions between two people.
“If I'm in a serious relationship with a guy and then I find another guy more attractive, I would break up with him instead of dating both of them at the same time,” she said.
Ayra Starr encouraged people to take time away from relationships when confused about their feelings, noting that stepping back often helps with making better decisions.
She also cautioned against neglecting friendships after falling in love, stressing the importance of balance.
“You should never abandon your friends because you are in love,” she said, adding that partners should not isolate each other from their social circles.
