“I didn’t struggle entering Ghana’s music industry because my father provided everything I needed” — Reggie Rockstone

Ghanaian music legend Reggie Rockstone has revealed that he did not face the usual struggles associated with breaking into Ghana’s music industry because of the support he received from his father.

Speaking during an interview with Nana Aba Anamoah, the Grandpapa of Hiplife explained that his father was proud of him and made sure he had the necessary support and resources to pursue his ambitions.

According to Reggie, his father provided virtually everything he needed, meaning he did not have to struggle financially or fight his way into the music fraternity in the manner many aspiring artistes experience.

“I didn’t struggle entering Ghana’s music industry because my father provided everything I needed,” Reggie Rockstone stated.

He explained that his father’s support gave him a solid foundation as he pursued music and established himself within Ghana’s emerging music scene.

Reggie also noted that his father was proud of him as a son and supported his aspirations, making it possible for him to concentrate on his creative journey without some of the financial difficulties that often confront young artistes.
