Media personality Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng has defended Stonebwoy’s decision to speak publicly about his concerns amid the recent social media exchanges involving Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.

Speaking on United Showbiz, Vida argued that Stonebwoy’s recent comments should not necessarily be interpreted as being motivated by hatred, jealousy or ill feelings towards his colleagues.

According to her, Stonebwoy was simply addressing an issue that had been bothering him and expressing his feelings from a genuine place.

“Stonebwoy’s whole conversation was not about hatred, jealousy, or anything else; he was simply addressing a concerned issue from the bottom,” Vida stated during her submission.

Her comments come after a series of social media exchanges between Stonebwoy and Sarkodie, following a post by Sarkodie concerning the amputee video.

Stonebwoy subsequently responded directly to Sarkodie, raising questions about their relationship and referencing previous private conversations between them. He also expressed concerns about what he considered inconsistencies between Sarkodie’s public messages and some of his actions.

The development reignited discussions among music fans, with supporters of both artistes taking sides and debating the issues on social media.

The wider conversation has also involved Shatta Wale, whose long-standing rivalry and exchanges with Stonebwoy have repeatedly generated attention within Ghana's music industry.
